Digital Photograph Submission Tips
  1. The picture must be stored in a file on your computer as an image before submitting it from this page. This can be accomplished by copying it from your digital camera, or if you have a film camera, scanning the photograph into your computer with a scanner.
  2. All pictures submitted should be weather-related and/or related to current events in the community. Pictures should be local or nearby to the weather site you are submitting to. Please do not submit any offensive or objectionable content.
  3. In addition, all pictures should be recent. Pictures older than two weeks old have little chance of being published.
  4. Please do not use photo editing software to enhance your picture.
  5. Please submit JPEG images only (these typically have ".jpg" or ".jpeg" in the file name)
  6. The preferred size of submission is at least 640 pixels wide by 480 pixels in height (640 x 480). Larger submissions are encouraged, but your image file must be no larger than 500kb to be accepted.
  7. Please do not embellish images with the location and your name. These are generally how the pictures appear on WeatherCurrents.com, but let us do it instead!
